The house below the Zizzola

At first it was a Liberty-style cottage from the early 1900s, before its enlargement and renovation in the 1980s. To restore it, I was inspired by the unusual angles and perspectives offered by the Zizzola, a fascinating 19th villa which rises just up the hill that our studio restored from 2005 to 2010. The aim was to provide Maria with a space to host her international guests, to cook with them and for them, and at that same time create a place where she and her family could lead their daily lives
